Dinner Group Series
Womanfocus solicits nominations from the community each year in March in order to select women and girls who will be recognized at our Annual Found Woman Awards Dinner. The dinner is held on the third Thursday in June. The date of our next Found Woman Award Dinner is June 17,2005
Each October Womanfocus presents it’s annual Escape. The Escape is a day of reflection and fun. Last year we chose to bring the adolescent component and the adult woman component together through a Mother Daughter Day. The theme was Healthy Connections. Held the fourth Saturday in October this year’s event should prove to be as meaningful. Our theme “ Getting to Know You” will be filled with the food, dance and poetry and other aspects that make the Womanfocus Escape the successful event it is year after year. To join us, or just to learn more about this event call us at 884-3256 x 211
The knowledgeable Community Educators at Womanfocus are aware of County-wide resources to assist you if you need referrals for supports we are unable to offer. Call us at 884-3256 by email womanfocus@yahoo.com
