Preventionfocus works throughout Erie County to promote healthy lifestyles for all ages through education programs in stress management, problem solving techniques, conflict resolution, and harmful involvement with alcohol and other substances.
Our prevention work may find us in schools, churches, camps and community
meetings rooms. But no matter where we are, we are operating from the point of
view that by providing information, support and understanding to the people we
serve, we will make a difference in their lives.
From The Heart Of The Director
The Preventionfocus, Inc. agency is a non-profit organization that provides services to a variety of individuals throughout Erie County in Western New York. In our mission, we have committed to working with other service providers, so that we are able to meet the vast needs of those who make up our communities.
As one of the largest freestanding PREVENTION service providers in New York State, we are leaders in program development and service implementation. The scope of our services includes CSAP model programming, tailored program services and professional development services. In fact, the Preventionfocus, Inc. staff is compiled of professionals from the fields of Health and Human Services, Education, and Prevention. Together, the staff and administration of this organization are dynamically determined to bring about change in the lifestyles of Erie County residents.
In the spirit of collaboration, Preventionfocus, Inc. reaches out to you, to share information, to communicate and identify areas of need, and to establish a broader base of impact in the field of prevention.
