FIRST OKAY-5K FUN RUN/WELLNESS WALK
HELD AT ELLICOTT CREEK PARK
Preventionfocus hosted the first annual “Okay 5K” Fun Run/Wellness Walk presented by Rupp, Baase, Pfalzgraf, Cunningham & Coppola LLC on Sunday, October 2nd in and around Ellicott Creek Park in Tonawanda. In spite of cold and rainy weather, around sixty walkers and runners participated and around $6,000 was raised to support the substance abuse prevention programs of the agency.
The event was sponsored by Rupp, Baase, Pfalzgraf, Cunningham & Coppola LLC, Attorneys at Law, Eagle Systems, Clarence Pizza Company, John J. Riccardi, Attorney At Law, Paramount Settlement Planning, Young & Wright Architectural, Stovroff & Taylor Travel/Realtors, Dival Safety, Venture Group, and Twin City Ambulance.
Caitlin English was the top female finisher with a time of 21 minutes: 21 seconds while Denver Strong finished first among the males with a time of 20 minutes: 03 seconds.
