Preventionfocus, Inc. currently provides prevention strategies and programs primarily under contract with the Erie County Department of Mental Health through funding from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. Additional funding provided by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
In order to meet our program goals, we also need:
- Major donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, and community groups
- Government and corporate grants to start new programs and initiatives or take existing ones to places not covered by other funding
- Gifts in kind like cooking supplies, food, and ingredients for our programs that involve meal preparation and school and art supplies for our after school programs
- Sponsorships of fundraising events like our annual Holiday Awards Luncheon
